At Blackwood Valley Beef “we take the time to make our beef prime”. By this we mean we care about our product from farm right through to your dinner plate, and believe no process in the chain can be shortcut or hurried along.
Because our cattle are older than most other beef animals when they are processed it has allowed time for the natural flavours to develop in the beef, and along with the grass-fed diet, provides for a unique, certainly in todays world, beef eating experience.
Couple this together with our extended on carcase “dry aging” time(5-7 days), which further develops the flavors and “relaxes” the beef thus creating improved tenderness, our unique packaging and our organic certification, we have a beef product that is not only fantastic to eat, it also looks great and is environmentally sustainable.
